Our Personal Trainers

Hi my name is Emma, I am a fourth-year physical therapy major and have been a trainer for a year. My favorite method to keep my clients motivated is to set goals. I believe the best part about being a personal trainer is helping my clients reach their goals and apply their training progress to sports and hobbies outside the gym. When I'm not training, I enjoy cooking, skating, and exploring Boston.

My name is Sarah Adamo, I am an Electrical Engineering major that loves to bake, crochet, and read. Hi there! I am a fifth-year physical therapy student from Cupertino, CA, and I have been a Personal Trainer at Campus Recreation for about three years now. I feel that this connection enables me to motivate them to be the best version of themselves and tailor the exercise programs specifically to their needs and goals. I love training clients of all levels, ages, and backgrounds!

Hello my name is Tiana, I am a fourth-year PT student, and this is my first year training! My favorite thing about personal training is making people happy and helping them feel good about themselves - I like to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable at the gym. For me, how I motivate clients depends on the person, but I believe that acknowledging gains as well as areas of improvement are equally as important.

My name is Chris Scheel, and I am a graduate student pursuing my master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a Concentration in Coaching. I received my personal training certification in December 2019 and love utilizing my exercise knowledge to train others as well as improve my own personal fitness. My favorite thing about being a personal trainer is empowering clients to take control of their respective wellness journeys, which is why I utilize an empathetic approach to motivate those I work with. I'm a huge sports fan, so outside of the gym, you'll usually find me either playing intramural sports or watching my favorite teams on TV!

My name is Alison Sheng and I am a 4th year Physical Therapy major. I have been training 1 year and my favorite thing about being a personal trainer is helping people stay active. I include fun and different exercises into each session, which makes clients stay engaged and motivated.

Hi! I am a 5th year Physical Therapy Major with minors in Biology and Psychology and have been training at Marino for 3 years. I like to move, whether that's training with the triathlon club, going for a solo run or playing recreational soccer, ultimate frisbee, or foosball. In my free time I enjoy cooking, playing board games with friends, and making friendly wagers on sports games. My favorite part about personal training is the unique relationship I get to build with each of my clients and having the opportunity/responsibility to help them work towards their goals.
I think motivation for each client starts with a written goal, but ultimately comes down to consistent execution and showing up for each session, exercise, and rep.
