Todd Larson began his professional career at State Street Bank and John Hancock Advisers in accounting, treasury and investment operational roles.  These positions supported the investment management function for these, Boston based, financial services firms.  Todd’s natural affinity for technology and curiosity, when it comes to data analytics, lead him to an eventual career in IT.   Todd spent 13 years at Eaton Vance Management in Boston from 1999-2012 in various IT leadership roles. There he built out a portfolio of integrated application solutions while leading the software development and business facing application teams there.  He regularly leveraged his knowledge of the investment management business and made it part of the discussion when it came to IT solutions.   In preparation for his later career, Todd also transitioned into a focus on infrastructure technologies too while at Eaton Vance.  He managed various components of infrastructure operations from network and telecomm to capacity management and response and operational services.  In 2012, Todd joined Pioneer Investments in Boston as the US Chief Technology Officer.  Pioneer is a globally focused investment management adviser.  As such, various global IT projects were Todd’s focus including the implementation of global trading systems platform.  In 2013, Todd joined the startup investment advisory firm, F-Squared Investments in Wellesley, MA as their Chief Technology Officer.  In the two years there, Todd built out new and innovative technology delivery solutions using cloud and SAS models to support a rapidly growing advisory business.  In 2015, Todd joined Sentinel Benefits and Financial Group in Wakefield, MA.  While at Sentinel, Todd has further focused on innovation and evolving the IT service model to be aligned with the business and positioned for scale.

Todd has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Framingham State University, Framingham MA and a Master’s in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.  Todd is an adjunct professor at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business in Boston, MA.  There he designs curriculum and teaches graduate and undergraduate studies in various IT disciplines.
