(Marginally Useful Objects Replete with Superficial Articulation)

This exhibition utilizes vintage objects, assembled to form playful and sometimes intricate matrices. Inspiration was found in the collection of wooden toy and game parts and other found antique objects. The basic vehicles of sculpture, collage, simple geometric shapes, and Peter’s sempahoric use of color drive the exploration of relationships inherently found in humor, word play, and social comment.

Peter Thibeault, a Boston based artist, has been working locally for over twenty years. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the College of Arts, Media and Design since joining Northeastern in 2015.
