Alumnus Pursues Acting Career

Joey Fiore, AS’10, is a retired geologist, former Northeastern University student body president, and up-and-coming actor.

Joey Fiore has starred in two television pilots developed by “Friends” executive producer Kevin Bright, as well as national commercials, award-winning shorts, and Northeastern’s critically acclaimed revival of “Guys and Dolls.”

With fellow Northeastern alumni Tommy Mountain, AS’09, and Rogan O’Handley, CJ’07, Fiore launched the YouTube series “League of Princes,” for which they’ll be shooting a pilot in 2016. He is currently working on another web comedy, an independent feature, and a YouTube series following his unauthorized apartment renovation projects.

In his five years in Los Angeles, he’s worked for Netflix, worked as a bartender, and recently left Northeastern startup MAVRCK to act and create full time. Originally from Worcester, Massachusetts, Joey lives in Hollywood with his dog, Achilles.
