Featured Philanthropic Opportunity – Husky Closet

This initiative will teach students the skill of professional branding starting with professional attire and provide students access to clothing for co-op interview. These gently used items will be made available, for free, to Northeastern students at a large ‘thrifting’ opportunity and networking launch event this fall.

Clothing Drive Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 7. The final opportunity for drop-off will be at our 1st Thursday event.

Appropriate items to donate include gently-used professional: Suit jackets/blazers/sports coat, pants/trousers, skirts, blouses, button-downs/polo dress shirts, dresses, scarves, ties, belts, shoes, jewelry, and briefcases/bags

    Regional/International Community Leaders lead their respective communities in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations. Our leaders set goals for the group that coincide with the mission of the university, remain active and informed in all community activities, act as a liaison between the university and alumni in the area, and assist with logistics, planning, and hosting of community events.

    Mentoring is a great way to stay connected to the university while helping to shape current students’ experience. Our Regional Co-op Mentor Program, currently offered in Washington, D.C. and New York City, gives alumni and parents an opportunity to connect one-on-one with a co-op student in their region. Applications are currently closed for the fall cycle, but we will begin accepting applications for the next round in January 2018.

    The Huntington 100 Coaching Program provides Huntington 100 alumni an opportunity to have a yearlong positive impact on the lives of current Huntington 100 students.
