The Office of Alumni Relations is bringing a new series of small group career development workshops off campus and into your neighborhood. Learn career strategies that work in a casual setting while you share ideas, connections and a meal with fellow alumni in your community.

Each small group session will be led by Michele Rapp, Associate Director of Alumni Career Strategy at Northeastern University.

Join us for a career workshop, networking and a light meal. Gain fresh ideas and strategies for how to advance your career in 2017. Whether you need to manage up, refine your goals, boost your brand, or find a mentor, this meeting will help you identify your next steps.

Career Café: Second Act Careers – Following a Passion for Writing
6:30 – 8 p.m. | Boston

After retiring from a 30-year career in the plumbing supply business, Kevin Symmons, BS’71, turned to his love of writing and eventually became a successful author of romance novels. Join us at Trident Booksellers & Cafe as Kevin shares advice on developing a new career path later in life as well as tips for becoming a successful writer. Dinner is included.
