Tef Poe: Hip-Hop Weaponized Against White Supremacy

Tef Poe is an MC and recording artist, political activist, educator, and media commentator from St. Louis, MO. A tireless advocate for racial justice in America and worldwide, he is a founder of the Hands Up United organization and is currently a Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellow at Harvard University. In his art and activism, he insists on the value of local people taking charge of conversations about their own communities rather than relying on national organizations.
