Trash2Treasure – Turning last semester’s usable move-out trash into your move-in treasure!
Curry Student Center, Indoor Quad
Did you know that the average college student throws out an average of 640 pounds of garbage a year? Most of this waste comes from move-out day, a majority of it being perfectly reusable stuff! At Northeastern’s first Trash2Treasure, you can snag a lamp, a TV, or even designer clothing. All items were donated by students who moved out in the spring. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charitable organization helping the environment.
