Northeastern Pledge:
I am Northeastern!
As a Northeastern undergraduate student, you are responsible for understanding the Northeastern Pledge. The Pledge promotes a safe and peaceful living environment for students and neighbors and helps you better understand community issues in neighborhoods such as Mission Hill, Roxbury and the Fenway.
“As a Northeastern student, I know that what I do and how I act directly affects other members of the community, especially our neighbors. I pledge to represent the values of Northeastern in my actions, whether in interactions with fellow students, neighbors in our local community or wherever my studies and co-op take me, whether here in Boston, around the country or all over the world. I am Northeastern!”
As part of the Pledge, we value our PARTNERSHIPS with neighbors, the City of Boston, and the Boston Police Department, working together to make our neighborhoods peaceful places to live. Understand that you assume LIABILITY when living off campus. You are responsible for your actions and will have to deal with the consequences of Code of Conduct violations. Northeastern will EXPEDITE the judicial process for cases involving off campus disturbances, so it is important to make good DECISIONS about the way you live in the neighborhoods surrounding campus, and commit to being a GOOD NEIGHBOR. Our EXPECTATION is that you as Northeastern students will live peacefully in our neighborhood as responsible tenants in off campus housing.
