Glenn I. Hatton Memorial Award
Two Glenn I. Hatton Memorial Awards ($1000 each) will be presented at the WCNH 2011 meeting to meritorious students and postdocs studying the neurobiology of vasopressin and oxytocin. Those eligible for the award are trainees (students or postdoctoral fellows) presenting abstracts at the WCNH meeting. Postdoctoral Fellows must have received their Ph.D. no earlier than 2008. Interested parties should send an electronic application (PDF) consisting of the submitted abstract, CV, and a letter of recommendation from your mentor by July 1 to:

ADVANCE Travel Grants
Travel grants are being offered through Northeastern University’s NSF-funded ADVANCE Future Faculty Workshop program (grant #0811170). These grants are available to postdocs who are seeking academic positions and will provide financial support towards the reimbursement of domestic flight fare (up to $500), housing accommodations, meals, and a $200 discount toward registration costs. ADVANCE grant awardees will participate in a one-day pre-meeting Future Faculty Workshop held at the Northeastern University campus, which will teach skills geared to stimulate professional growth. Women and representatives from underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
