The VOTERS project is currently working on pioneering sensor technology that will change the way America looks at its roads. We have been featured in many publications, including Popular Science Magazine. Our venture takes engineering out of the classroom and into the real world. Our staff includes leaders in the world of civil engineering and ground-breaking professors from the Northeastern family! We are located right on campus and have partners across the Northeast.
The VOTERS project is looking for inventive and dedicated graduate students from the College of Engineering to join our team.
In particular, we're looking for students with experience or strong interest in the following areas:
- Technical data mining and knowledge discovery
- Data processing, fusion, reduction, analysis, and visualization
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial databases
- Numerical electromagnetic simulations of Ground Penetrating Radar system data over civil infrastructure models
