Register OnlineGordon-CenSSIS will be holding its final National Science Foundation Site Visit on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at Boston University. Because the Center is in its last year of NSF funding, the Site Visit will be a celebration, both of its accomplishments over the last 10 years and its future after graduation.
Center leadership, in conjunction with stakeholders, will present the ERC’s strategic plan for sustainability via an extended platform of new research, education, and economic development. Center researchers will present overviews highlighting the impact, outcomes and achievements of the Center over the last decade in the context of the evolution of the Center’s vision and strategic plan. The ERC’s fundamental advances will be presented, as will the Gordon-CenSSIS industrial partnerships and accomplishments in pre-college and college outreach and education, and in increasing diversity in engineering. Students will also present research posters and there will be an evening celebration dinner.
