Northeastern’s own Grinold donates $1m to athletics

Jack Grinold, Northeastern’s associate director of athletics and longtime sports information director, has donated $1 million to benefit athletics.

His gift provides future endowed support to the operations of the program and is the largest contribution to athletics ever made by a university staff member.

CBA honors top teacher, outstanding students

The College of Business Administration honored its best students and its top teachers at a ceremony in the Curry ballroom just before commencement. Timothy Rupert, professor and James Carey Fellow of accounting, was presented the Husky Bowl.

It’s time to dust off those sneakers and stop making excuses for the wintertime inertia that stood between that inner fit person and the treadmill, spin bike or weight room. "The Healthy You Challenge is a exciting program intended to encourage all faculty and staff to participate in fitness and health activities,” said Katherine Pendergast, vice president of Human Resources Management.
