A beloved tradition, the clambake gives us the opportunity to reconnect with one another. Thompson Island offers volleyball, a softball field (bring gloves if you want to play), bocce, horseshoes, cornhole, soccer, and frisbees available for the energetic, in addition to Adirondack chairs, nature walks, hammocks, a self-guided historical trail and beach for those who want more leisure in their leisure. On the menu: a traditional New England clambake, plus chicken and vegetarian options. Our Faculty Fellows and Scholars Staff will be there, and we strongly encourage all returning Scholars to attend.
