Ryan Sweezey

Year: 2015

Major: Journalism

Member Since: Fall '10

Sweeze, a middler, has been singing with the UniSons since he was a freshman in the fall of 2010. Now in his second year as vice president, he is extremely proud of the progress of the group and excited by the potential of this year’s lineup. Outside of the UniSons, Sweeze is a singer/songwriter who performs locally and has an album called “No Hollywood Star,” which is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc. In addition to singing and playing guitar, he also plays sax. When not singing or playing, Sweeze can be seen arguing with Stefan about The Eagles, being ignored by Joe, reminding Nate of his name, and putting a stove by your fireplace so you can fire while you fire #TwoFires. If you think you see him in Providence, that’s not him. That’s Ryan. He also obsessively follows hockey but will spend most of this year weeping internally at the lack of a season. Those aren’t tears, he swears, he just has something in his eyes.
