Adam (aka Swatt (aka King of Swing)) is a third year Biochemistry major originally from the inside of a whale. His superb public speaking skills, overwhelming handshakes, and unsolicited hugs never cease to embarrass the group. As President of the UniSons, he always considers the group’s number one priority: Husky Hunt. When not singing, he can be found biking, hiking, or putting out two fires at a time. Although he may be one of the youngest/biggest UniSons nesting dolls, he couldn’t be prouder of this awesome group of guys.
Stefan is third year Physics student at Northeastern, and nobody is more surprised than him that he hasn't changed his major. This is his third year singing with the UniSons, where he is mostly known for things he doesn't actually do. When not riffing or being funny, Stefan spends most of his time eating food, cooking food, or talking about food. You can follow him on twitter, but you really shouldn't.
Sweeze, a junior, has been singing with the UniSons since he was a freshman in the fall of 2010. Now in his fourth year in the group, he is extremely proud of the progress of the group and excited by the potential of this year’s lineup. After spending two years as vice president, he is excited to move to the music side of things as assistant music director (not that his lack of musical authority kept him from giving his input anyway, assuming people listened to him, which they never do). Outside of the UniSons, Sweeze is a singer/songwriter who performs locally and is releasing his second album on iTunes in November. In addition to singing and playing guitar, he also plays sax. When not singing or playing, Sweeze can be seen arguing with Stefan about The Eagles, being ignored by Joe, reminding Nate of his name, and putting a stove by your fireplace so you can fire while you fire #TwoFires. If you think you see him in Providence, that’s not him. That’s Ryan. He also obsessively follows hockey, and his current journalistic foray into the world of NU Athletics will keep him from performing in the foreseeable future. This fall, you can see him not on stage at UniSons shows (he's definitely not on the stage, Cotton, his absence IS noticeable), not in the room at rehearsals, and not in pictures on Facebook. @swz9
Zack is a sophomore, and a 2-year member of the UniSons. He is a Computer Science and Game Design major.
Dan, a sophomore, is very excited to continue singing with the UniSons this year! Daniel's fondest memories of being in the group so far include that time they climbed a mountain (small hill) and that time he was "really brave" at MIT. Dan is also a diehard Boston sports fans (except the Bruins. I mean, I still like them, I just don't follow them, but if you wanna talk about them some time that's cool too) and will tell you way more than you need to know about Boston Red Sox history if you ask. A math major at NU, Dan's overall goal is to work in a professional sports front office, but he also wouldn't mind being discovered and becoming famous, that'd be fine too. Hey, reach for the stars and you'll land among the moons, am I right? (I think that's how that one goes). Dan is featured on 3 songs on the UniSons FIRST album "Off The Cabeza", so give it a listen! Have a great day, reader! @danpenz
Sean is a third year electrical engineering major, happy to be beginning his third year with the Unisons having not entirely lost his mind. He's currently the treasurer of the group, and takes pride in rarely missing rehearsal, even though his peers never seem to notice he's there. Even so, he's back for another year of a cappella shenanigans.
Ben, is a “Middler” studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Last year, he was fortunate enough to win awards for Most Reliable (not a joke I assure you...) and “That Time of the Month Award” for being an incredible pain in the ass. He has been singing with the UniSons since his Spring semester Freshman year and couldn’t think of a better group of guys to call his acafriends. He is incredibly proud of the group’s progress and growth in the small time he has been in the group and cannot wait to see them continue to flourish. When not wearing suspenders, inserting his favorite number into every sentence, struggling to learn music, laughing at the funny man’s jokes or complaining, he can be found at every thrift shop ever, eating buffalo chicken everything everywhere and causing a general ruckus from the North to the South Shore. Look out for the UniSons in Ryder Hall, Sammi’s apartment, “Nates Place”, Boloco, Husky Hunt, Relay for Life and ICCAs. Feel free to follow Ben on twitter @benbungert, but please, he really needs to fix his ratio.
When not bringing the ruckus to the ladies, Raul can be found d-d-d-dropping the bass on the UniSons super-sexified beats. Now a senior member of the 'Sons, Raul is considered the Silverback Sexual Tiger of the group, aka Cornerstone of the Unisons, and enjoys several hobbies such as vision questing with his tribe, enjoying lazy susans and being that guy in the Fens they warn you about at orientation. Raul isn't afraid of velociraptors, but if he were ever to fight a velociraptor he'd probably be afraid. Raul can be found on and off campus moving fluidly with a summer boloco burrito (no cheese, add Guac!) in hand, and fighting roving packs of imaginary marsupials.
Jack Davis, one of the noobs, is a sophomore who has just transferred to Northeastern. Jack is extremely excited to be a part of such a fantastic group of talented gentleman. He is studying Engineering or something, and is an utter thrill at parties. When not singing, he enjoys going out to eat, video games, banter, stand-up comedy, and a good nap. Jack is from California, but that's okay. He looks forward to a fantastic time with the UniSons this year and beyond!
Kitch is a transfer student studying graphic art and game design. He considers himself a sophomore even in the face of a school that probably considers him a freshman. Though born in New Hampshire, he's spent the past 2 years jumping from Caliornia to Florida, all the way to Fiji, New Zealand and Australia, only to find himself back in New England. He plans on sticking around this time. When not performing practicing or recording music, you can find him at the gym wearing those weird toe shoes, playing/making games, spending way too much money at whole foods, cooking dank meals in his apartment and just generally doing it up. He looks forward to many exciting adventures with the 'sons.
Duncan Wilkinson is a Sophomore Psychology and Criminal Justice double major. When he graduates, he hopes to use his powers for good not evil, and be as bad ass as Batman, or Roger Murtaugh. When not singing syllables with the 'Sons, Duncan enjoys acting, skateboarding, paintball, LoL, and general debauchery. Duncan's past a cappella, entertainment and theatre credits include stuff he did in high school (there was a lot), Paws (Northeastern's mascot. It was super cool) and most recently acting in a production of Bare: A Pop Opera at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, New York. Duncan would also like to thank his family, friends, and his girlfriend Janna for all of their support in everything he does.
Alex Cornwall (Cornwall, Cornmaize, Cromwell, etc.) is a second year electrical engineering "student" at Northeastern. This is his second year with the illustrious UniSons, and after his rise to stardom following his "Outstanding Vocal Percussion" win at last year's ICCA competition, he's seriously considering going solo. He enjoys long walks on the beach, nachos, and producing a near-constant stream of percussive sounds from his mouth.
Nathaniel Smith (or Nate, or Than) is an avid do-er of doing things. He also forgets names. After switching majors countless times (twice... it was like twice), he is now studying Information Science. If you don't know what Information Science is, just think of it as professional boxing and eating sushi at the same time. Nate has always loved to sing, and has preformed with various A-cappella and professional groups a-like. He has sung music featured in video games, and performed at Symphony Hall (whhhaaaat!??). He also enjoys break-dance fighting, chocolate covered strawberries, and motivational speeches. After Goldy the goldfish passed away last spring, Nathaniel has strived to help the fish population recuperate in these dark days... that, or eat more cake, I can't really remember.
