Brian Evans Learning Disabilities Program Assistance Fund

Brian Evans

Northeastern provides students with a unique opportunity to obtain a comprehensive level of services through the fee-for-service Learning Disabilities Program. Unfortunately, there are eligible students each year who are unable to afford the program.

A scholarship fund has been created that, once fully endowed, will help to provide the support that some students require but are unable to afford. Brian Evans, a student in the LDP, lost his life in an unfortunate accident in the fall of 2006. To honor his memory, his family has established The Brian Evans Learning Disabilities Program Assistance Fund.

The Brian Evans Learning Disabilities Program Assistance Fund will provide scholarships to approximately three to five students each year. Students will be selected by the Director of the Learning Disabilities Program and determined to be eligible for assistance through the Office of Student Financial Services and the Senior Vice President for Enrollment and Student Life.

To remember Brian and to assist students who face challenges that can be a part of being a college student with a learning disability or attention deficit disorder, we ask that you consider making a gift to the Fund. Your generosity will make it possible for us to one day offer to students in need.
