After Hours Care
When the Health Center is closed, call New England Baptist Hospital at (617) 754-5544. There is always a health provider available to answer your questions or help in any situation.
Emergencies
If there is an emergency on campus, call the Public Safety Department emergency line at (617) 373-3333. If you are off campus call 911.
Counseling Services
If you think you could benefit from counseling or mental health services at UHCS, call (617) 373-2772 and schedule a half hour Mental Health Assessment to help identify what services could be helpful to you. A Mental Health Assessment appointment should be available to you within the week.
If you cannot wait for an appointment because your situation is urgent and/or you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please walk in or call (617) 373-2772 during business hours and ask for an emergency mental health appointment. You will be seen by a staff member as soon as possible. A crisis consultation can help a student address urgent concerns, identity how to cope with the situation, and connect the student with helpful resources.
If you or someone you know are experiencing a crisis or psychological emergency after business hours, please call the Public Safety Department at (617) 373-3333 or go to your local hospital's emergency room.
