Ryan
Originally from San Francisco, California, Ryan is a Philosophy major and just completed his first co-op experience at a Boston law firm. Ryan is a Dean’s List scholar, and he volunteers at New Mission High School as a mentor and tutor. He is interested in pursuing a law degree.

Monyrath
Mony, from Lowell, Massachusetts, is a Biochemistry major and just started his first co-op experience at a EMD Serono Research Center in Billerica, Massachusetts. As a freshman at NU, Mony gained valuable lab experience as a research assistant. He is an active member of Pi Delta Psi Fraternity and is an External Vice President of the Multicultural Greek Council.

Raquisha
Raquisha, a Psychology major, is originally from the Bronx, New York, where she is currently working for the Bronx Defenders in her first co-op experience. Raquisha is active in NU’s dance clubs and the Caribbean Student Organization on campus.

Kellyse
Originally from Washington, D.C., Kellyse is majoring in Communication Studies and is a Dean’s List scholar. She is a writing tutor in the General Studies Program and active in cultural clubs on campus.

Travis
Travis, from Winthrop, Massachusetts, is a Criminal Justice major at NU. Travis is currently on his first co-op working with the Winthrop Police Department. Travis also works at Fenway Park and freelances with video editing and production.

Jordan
Jordan, a Journalism major with a Sociology minor, is originally from Fall River, Massachusetts. After receiving NU’s Freshman Writing Award, Jordan developed an independent, online radio show featuring hip-hop artists, earning national attention for his start-up site. Jordan is also a writing tutor and contributing editor of Onyx, an NU publication.

Samuel
Originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts, Sam is an International Business major with a concentration in Spanish. Sam has begun is first co-op experience to support his major and is active on campus through community service initiatives and professional and cultural clubs.

Glenny
A graduate of Boston Public Schools’ Dorchester Academy, Glenny is a Philosophy major who has just completed a Service Learning experience to the Dominican Republic through Social Enterprise Institute at NU. Glenny is a co-founder of a start-up nonprofit called DRYVE and plans service trips to underserved countries.

Chynah
Chynah, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, is a Criminal Justice Major who has just started her first co-op experience in Boston to support her major. Chynah is an active volunteer in early childhood mentoring programs in Boston.

Simona
Simona, originally from the Bronx, New York, has begun her first co-op experience at the Criminal History Systems Justice Board in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Simona is a Criminal Justice Major and minoring in Sociology and is a Dean’s List scholar. She started a non-profit organization with other Torch Scholars and is an active Board member of Summer Search and Jeter’s Leaders. Simona is also a Program Assistant for LEAD (Linking Education and Diversity), where she facilitates a mentoring program for Boston high school seniors and NU students.
