NU Fetes the Manganaros - April 14, 2008

President Aoun hosted a special dinner at the Fenway Center to honor and thank the family of Anthony Manganaro for their unwavering support of the Torch Scholars program. Recently, the Manganaros bolstered the unique and highly successful program with a gift of $7.5 million. Anthony, and Michelle Manganaro and their children Todd Manganaro, BA '95, and Nicole D'Amore, L'97, helped to develop and launch the program with an initial gift of $1.25 million.

Sharing Strategies of the Business World - March 20, 2008

Two successful entrepreneurs returned to campus to talk to Torch Scholars about their Northeastern experience and how it prepared them for their success in the business world. Sal Napoli spoke about what it takes to run more than 80 McDonald's restaurants in the Northeast; while David Schwartz shared his take on how to run a highly-successful real estate business in the city of Boston. Both speakers attended Northeastern with Todd Manganaro.
