SAVE-THE-DATE: Alumni/ae Weekend 2011
Join us October 21-22, 2011

Mix and mingle as you enjoy fun events and catch up with old friends.

All graduates are invited to join us for a faculty reception on Friday, October 21, 2011. This annual event always draws a terrific crowd of graduates and faculty in Dockser Hall’s lovely Commons. Dean Emily Spieler will give the State of the Law School address prior to the faculty reception, providing an update on key information related to NUSL. Saturday events will include departmental updates, fun activities, and a memorable reunion class dinner and cocktail reception in the Colonnade Hotel’s elegant ballroom. Celebrating reunion years in 2011 include: 1951, ’56, ’76, ’81, ’86, ’91, ’96, ’01 and ’06. Surrounding class years are always welcome to attend as well.

Volunteers Wanted
Some of our reunion classes are still in need of volunteers to assist with marketing and fund-raising. If you are interested in volunteering to assist in marketing and building attendance for your reunion year, please contact Mielle Marquis at m.marquis@neu.edu. If you're interested in assisting in fund-raising for your Reunion Class Gift, please contact Amelia Confalone at a.confalone@neu.edu. Or, feel free to call 617.373.8268. We hope to recruit at least six volunteers for each reunion class. Get involved, help us build the excitement, and assist with bringing in financial support for your alma mater.

CALL for Artists
As part of Alumni/ae Weekend 2011, we are reaching out to graduates of all years to donate art work for a silent auction to raise money for NUSL’s Annual Fund. If you are an artist who would be willing to donate (free of charge) a canvas, photography, sculpture, or piece of jewelry for the auction, please e-mail Mielle Marquis at m.marquis@neu.edu. The auction will take place as part of the Reunion Class Dinner on Saturday, October 22, 2011.

Giving Back Means So Much!

Did you know that alumni/ae support is the single largest funding source for co-op stipends? When you give back to NUSL, you give students the chance to pursue unpaid public interest co-op opportunities that wouldn’t be possible without financial assistance. Please consider making a gift to the Annual Fund this year.
