Directions and Maps
The general directions to Northeastern provided by the University are a good guide to reaching the campus. For navigating once you're here, check out the interactive campus map or the printable PDF map.
A highlighted map showing the talk venues (Curry, Snell, and Shillman), the physics department (Dana), and our dormitory space (West Village G) is provided below.
On-campus housing
From Logan Airport to Dormitory Housing:
- by Subway (note: the subway does not run from roughly midnight to 5:30 AM)
- Take the shuttle bus (bus 22 from Terminals A & B; bus 11 from Terminals C&E — most international arrivals are at Terminal E) from your terminal to the MBTA Airport Station.
- Take the Blue line inbound (towards the city): train should indicate Bowdoin as the final destination. The one-way fare is $2 ($1.70 if you take the trouble to purchase a multi-ride Charlie Card).
- Transfer at State Street Station to the Orange Line. Take the train in the direction of Forest Hills.
- Get off at Ruggles Station.
- Follow the path indicated on the diagram below from Ruggles to West Village G.

- The street address of West Village G is 450 Parker Street. The fare should be around $30 plus tip. Please note that West Village G is set back from the street. The two nearest buildings directly on the street are WV H (440 Parker) and WV A (500 Parker).
Check-In Procedure:
- Please ask the proctor at West Village G (the security person behind the desk) to page a conference staff member to check you in.
- You will be asked for your ID and to put your email address on the check-in sheet.
- You will also be asked to sign a waiver.
- You will receive a conference packet, room assignment and key card. The staff will instruct you on its use.
