Monday, November 9
Meet the Homecoming Court!
8:00-9:00pm; Curry Student Center Ballroom
Join the fun, and Meet the Court! Candidates running for the 2009 Homecoming King and Queen will entertain you as they compete for your vote in trivia, talent and school spirit competitions! Voting begins on the myNEU portal at midnight after the event and concludes at 11:59pm Thursday night.
Tuesday, November 10
Mayor of Huntington Avenue
6:30-8:00pm; Curry Student Center Ballroom
The Student Alumni Association's (SAA) Mayor of Huntington Avenue debate is your last chance to get to know your 2009 Mayor candidates before the polls close. Join the SAA, fellow students and the candidates as they "debate" the issues most important to Northeastern. You'll finally get a firm stance on topics such as which cafe is the best; what intramural sport is their favorite and what each candidate would bring to a deserted island. Northeastern next "Big Dog on Campus" will be announced at Friday's Pep Rally.
SuperDance!
9:00pm-1:00am; Curry Student Center Ballroom
Pledge yourself or your organization to take part in this event that is new to Homecoming! This dance marathon is designed to generate funds that will be donated to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans in honor of Veterans Day. Come dressed ready to dance and get your costumes ready for the theme hours: 80's hour, One Hit Wonder's hour, Hip Hop hour and request hour will surely bring fun for all. Bring additional funds to pledge to have other organizations do dance moves at your request! This event will feature music, food, fun prizes and giveaways so bring your dancin' shoes! Husky Statue Decorating Contest
5:00-8:00pm; Curry Student Center Indoor Quad
Come and cheer on the student organizations as they decorate their own Husky statues! Winning designs will receive a prize, and will be showcased during the remainder of the Homecoming 2009 celebration. Lend a hand to your participating organization, or just come to check out the fun. Winners of the contest will be announced during the halftime show during Saturday's football game. Live Band Husky Karaoke
8:00-11:00pm; afterHOURS, Curry Student Center
Take karaoke to the next level by singing along with a full band as your back up! Join your fellow Huskies as they partake in the "alma mater singing contest" and wear your red and black for your chance at winning the "biggest fan contest." This event is brought to you by the Council for University Programs.

The Comedy of John Oliver

Join John Oliver, contributor on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as he performs live in Blackman Auditorium, with opener Shane Mauss. Tickets are available from the Ell Hall Box Office and are $5 for students, faculty and staff and $10 for NU Alumni. For information, email cup@neu.edu.

Join fellow students, faculty/staff and alumni at a spirited pep rally celebrating NU Athletics and Husky pride. Be sure to wear your Red and Black. The festivities include entertainment and giveaways. Come join us and watch the unveiling of this year's Mayor of Huntington Avenue and highlight our talented athletic teams.
Women's Volleyball vs. University of Delaware
5:00pm; Solomon Court
Fresh off its first ever CAA regular season championship and appearance in the CAA Championship Final in 2008, the Huskies look to maintain their success and continue their run atop the conference standings. With just a few games left in CAA regular season play, your Huskies volleyball team needs support! Come to Solomon Court in Cabot Gym to help cheer on the NU Huskies battle the Blue Hen's of Delaware.
Men's Ice Hockey vs. University of Maine
7:00pm, Matthews Arena
Come to newly renovated historic Matthew's Arena as men's hockey seeks to take down the Black Bears in the Hockey East competition. After an incredible season in 2008, the Huskies are out for revenge on the rest of the Hockey East. Northeastern will face off against the Black Bears from University of Maine on Friday the 13th at 7pm and Saturday the 14th at 7pm. The Huskies will have the chance to shut out the Black Bears this Homecoming weekend, so don't forget to wear your red and black to show some pride!
Saturday, November 14
Homecoming Pre-Game Tailgate
11:30am; Parson's Field
Celebrate the 100 Years of Co-op at this fun-filled birthday party before watching the game! Entertainment will be plenty and free food and giveaways will be provided. The first 300 guests receive a free gift commemorating co-op's birthday. Continuous busing between Forsyth Circle and Parson's will be provided from 11:30am through the conclusion of the game.
Homecoming Football Game
1:00pm; Parson's Field
Northeastern vs. Hofstra University
The Huskies face Hofstra University at 1pm in the last home game of the season. This is your last chance to cheer and support the 2009 Huskies football team at home. Come to Parson's Field for Colonial Athletic Association football play, as this game will be nothing short of exciting! Don't forget to wear your red and black, and to tune in for the halftime show where we announce the 2009 Homecoming King and Queen, Spirit Cup winners, and the winners of the banner making and husky statue decorating contest! Continuous busing from Forsyth Circle and Parson's Field will begin at 11:30AM and will conclude after the game.

This season the Huskies will look to build upon their accomplishments in 2008, one of the most successful campaigns in recent history. Women's hockey will be battling Hockey East rival University of Maine at 2:00pm. Playing in the recently renovated Matthews Arena, the game is sure to be full of excitement and thrill. Come help the Husky women's hockey team defeat the Maine Black Bears.
Husky Fan Fest
5:00 - 7:00pm, Tent Adjacent to Matthews Arena
Husky spirit and unified support for our athletic teams are in abundance at FanFest, where a fun and relaxed atmosphere takes center stage as alumni, family, students, and friends get pumped up to root for the home team. Come and join fellow members of the Northeastern community before the men's hockey team faces off against the University of Maine. The tent next to Matthews Arena will feature live music, great food and drink, and plenty of Husky camaraderie. There is no better way to gear up for the big game! Student tickets are limited and must be picked up in advance from Student Affairs in 104 Ell Hall. Free admission with a ticket; cash bar and concessions a la carte. Students must be 21+ with proper ID.
