Mission: The Northeastern University Concert Band is a member of the blanket Organization NU Bands.  Although it is officially a class offered by the Music Department, Concert Band's membership is open to anyone affiliated with the University (undergrad/grad students, alumni, faculty and staff).  You can choose to take it as a 1 credit class or just come have fun playing with us!

Great White Way

Mission: The purpose of The Great White Way is to provide the Norhteastern community with the excitement and discipline of musical theatre, regardless of major. Students will act, direct, design, and create a uniquely scaled Broadway style production. Auditions are primarily held in September and January for December and April productions, respectively.

Mission: The purpose of Kinematix is to provide a channel through Northeastern University for students to express themselves through street dance. Kinematix brings together the styles of break dancing, popping and locking, house, funk, boogie, krumping, hip hop, and street-jazz(as well as a fusion of many other styles) that constitute the heart of street dance. Kinematix encourages performances, enriches the talents of its members, promotes social interaction, and brings awareness of the urban culture to its audience.

Mission: To be an all inclusive group with different dance styles and levels, which will be open to many ideas and member contribution. This group will improve the dance skills of all members, with optional performance opportunities available to those who are interested. There will not be a cap on membership, and there is a goal for group expansion. There is a possibility of incorporating communty service into the dances, by performing at local hospitals, and doing fundraising events for different charities and causes. Members hope to be able to participate in workshops held by local dance instructors to improve dancing skills and experience in structured dance invironments.
