                Communication Club

Mission: The Communications Club is open to all students, both undergraduate and graduate at NU.  It primarily seeks to promote the three concentrations of Communication Studies: Media, Organization Communication and Public Communication.  Those students who are majoring in Marketing or Journalism (primarily Public Relations concentrations) would also find the club to be beneficial.  The three committees within the club, Voice, Public Relations/Projects, and Networking, each provide the studetns with a liaison to their department, the Boston community as well as to their future education and career endeavors.

Mission: Will provide students pursuing veterinary medicine insight into the application process by bringing in admissions counselors from local verterinary schools and current veteranary students, networking discussing acquiring letters of recommendation, and course requirements. The organization will bring in Norhteastern professors to discuss their research and other animal related fields as well as local vererianarians to discuss their veterinary specialties. NPVA will work to organize volunteer and fundraising activities in animal hospitals, zoos, and parks. We will also organize trips to the aquarium, zoo, and museums. We will organize attendance to the MSPCA for their monthly lecture series and work with our co-op advisors to find relevant and contructive placement for pre-veterinary students.
