Amin and Julie Khoury have generously endowed
a scholarship fund for worthy students in the School of Technological
Entrepreneurship Minor. The scholarship will support students in
their middler, junior, and senior years and will be awarded to students
majoring in business with outstanding entrepreneurial talent chosen
by the dean based on performance in the first two years. Two or
three $5,000 awards will be made each year to worthy undergraduate
students form the College of Business Administration who have taken at least two courses in the STE minor and who are chosen by the Dean on the basis of their performance.
A generous gift from George and Ellen Kariotis
establishes an endowed scholarship fund for the STE. This fund will
provide support to students projects. In its implementation, students
will submit ideas for evaluation by a committee consisting of representative
each from the STE, Engineering and Business. The selection committee
will select worthy and deserving recipients for awards based on
their submissions. Projects will be evaluated for originality, technical
feasibility, and market potential. Students will be required to
present their ideas and will be judged based on their enthusiasm,
determination and salesmanship. Two $5,000 scholarships will be
available to undergraduates and one $5,000 is available for graduate
students.
Through their generosity the Altshulers
would like to provide worthy students with an opportunity to apply
for graduate level award considering financial need and academic
performance. Each fellowship will be $10,000. Preference will be
given to students who exhibit strong application materials (including
a GPA of 3.0 or higher and GMAT scores of 600 or higher) and who
have an interest and or background related to manufacturing operations
and or quality management. Candidates must be full-time students
in the Master's in Technological Entrepreneurship program at Northeastern.
The School of Technological Entrepreneurship
also provides aid in the form of Dean's Merit Scholarships. These
scholarships are available to master's students and provide partial
tuition reimbursement and require no work commitment. There is no
application process for these awards.
