Professional Development Session 1: Incorporating Peace-Building Into Your Program

Sport in Society, in conjunction with Humanities Center’s Artists and Practitioners in Residence Program, will host a professional development training for local sport and development programs, Tenacity, Squashbusters, and Playworks. The Training will be led by renowned Peace Activist, and Founder/Director of “Seeds of Peace” Barbara Gottschalk, who will be participating in a five-day residency on the Northeastern campus. The focus of the professional development training would be how to better incorporate peace-building into their programs. Utilizing the expertise of Barbara Gottschalk, this professional development seminar will provide each program’s staff with the skills to develop a plan on how to intentionally infuse peace building into their curriculum.
