Caitlin Geddes is the Director of Programs for Sport in Society, where she is responsible for programming, operational excellence, marketing and public relations. In this role, Caitlin oversees Sport in Society interns, coop students, research fellows, and volunteers. She serves as a liaison to service partners and synthesizes project reporting and evaluation. Caitlin also facilitates outreach for the Double Dutch League of Massachusetts by providing resources to coaches and teams, acting as a liaison for demonstrations, overseeing coaching clinics, and coordinating the annual tournaments for over 400 Massachusetts youth.
Caitlin joined Sport in Society as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2007 after graduating from Boston College. During this year of service, Caitlin coordinated service projects for student-athletes to run physical activity, nutrition, and life skills programs with youth, created and analyzed program evaluations, and assisted with fundraising, development, and marketing.
Outside of Sport in Society, Caitlin serves as a Leadership Instructor with the Student Leadership Training Program, an organization which empowers student leaders to get involved and make a difference in their schools and communities.
Caitlin hails from Cumberland, RI, where she competed in field hockey, track, and soccer.
