Bachelor of Arts (BA). Students wishing to obtain a BA degree in Sociology are required to take fourteen courses in the Department, including six required Sociology courses, three Sociology electives at the 1200-level, three sociology electives at the 2000/3000 level, one Sociology elective at the 4000-level, and an experiential education course or internship. BA in Sociology students must also fulfill the university’s core curriculum requirements, including a foreign language.
