Data is transforming companies and changing workforce demands everywhere, and organizations are searching for people who can use data to make strategic business decisions. Because of this, it is becoming increasingly important for both technical and non-technical people to be data literate.
Learn more about data with Northeastern University’s Data Day in Silicon Valley, where you’ll hear experts from various backgrounds and fields discuss how they work with data and utilize analytics to overcome many of today’s workforce challenges.

Data Day Panelists:
- Lizi Feng: Lizi is a Level Alum who has experience as a data analyst in HR and the healthcare sector. She has worked with Segal Consulting and Sequoia Consulting Group, and has used her data analytics skills in her daily roles. Today, she is the technical founder of her own startup in the retirement space.
- Michele Kiss: Michele is a Senior Partner at Analytics Demystified, a digital analytics consulting firm. She has won many awards for her work, including the Digital Analytics Association “Rising Star” award and the “Practitioner of the Year” award. She is a member of the Data Analytics Association and brings experience as an analyst in many different industries.
- Amit Shinde: Amit is a graduate of Northeastern University’s Master’s of Data Science program and brings over 14 years of experience in the IT industry. He is highly skilled in Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Data Visualization, Data Mining and Statistical Analysis. Currently, he works as a Lead Engineer at VSP Vision Care.
Prolet Miteva: Prolet is a Senior Project Manager at Autodesk and President of MeasureCamp in SanFrancisco- an open, free-to-attend unconference on digital analytics that’s different from any other conference held around the world. Prolet is also a co-chair of the San Francisco Data Analytics Association and brings both technical and business development experience to her work and volunteer positions.
