Principal Investigator: Rebecca Shansky, Ph.D.
Dr. Shansky received her BA in Psychology from Columbia University and her Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Yale University. After doing post-doc work at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Columbia University, she joined the Behavioral Neuroscience faculty in the Department of Psychology at Northeastern.

Graduate Student: Colin Rey
Colin is a second year PhD student who comes to us from Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he received a BA in Psychology. In his free time, he can be found cycling around the Boston area, cooking, and watching hockey or basketball. He once met Bill Murray at a minor league baseball game, and will eat (and probably enjoy) anything that has been pickled, cured or fermented.
Undergraduate Researcher: Nick Panarello
Nick is a sophomore majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience and is on the PreHealth track. He’s interested in neuroscience and medicine, and enjoys working out and country music. He loves watching baseball, basketball and football, and once played catch with Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester.
Undergraduate Researcher: Anna Bouck
Anna is a sophomore psychology major with specific interest in psychological trauma and critical incident management. She is pursuing a career as an emergency physician. She specializes in baseball fanaticism and left-handedness.
