Nat Robinson was recently the CEO and Founder of Juhudi Kilimo, which is a social business located in Kenya that provides micro-asset financing and insurance to rural smallholder farmers. Since its creation in 2009, Juhudi Kilimo has provided over 50,000 loans worth $30 million and financed the purchase of 23,100 cows by some of Kenya’s poorest farmers. Nat is originally from the U.S but through his work has traveled to over 60 countries. Nat is also the author of “Creating a Cash Cow in Kenya.” This book tells the story of a young entrepreneur from the U.S. who created a social business in East Africa.
