WordPress is one of the leading website publishing platforms on the Internet and at Northeastern University. Preventing malware and adware from infecting your site is an important task that is made easier by keeping WordPress and plugins current with updates and security patches, using strong passwords, and removing unused plugins.
The following presentation describes various ways a WordPress website can get infected with malware and how to prevent it. The meat of the presentation starts on slide 12.
