Welcome Toronto campus to the Northeastern Network
I am delighted to announce the addition of the first international regional campus to Northeastern’s Global Network – a new graduate campus will begin in Toronto in 2016.
Like Seattle, Boston and Silicon Valley, Toronto is a globally competitive city and knowledge hub. Our Global Network of campuses provides students with many options for academic advancement and experiential learning.
Here in Seattle we are exchanging ideas on curriculum innovation, research opportunities and corporate engagement with our colleagues in Charlotte, Silicon Valley, Boston, and now Toronto. As we look ahead we want to make it possible for students and faculty to divide time between our campuses if it benefits their training and experiential learning opportunities.
The addition of Toronto to our Global Network opens up entirely new areas of expertise to the Northeastern network of students, researchers and alumni. Our future is full of new opportunities.

Northeastern University to open regional campus in Toronto | news @ Northeastern
No university can be confined to a single campus,” said Northeastern President Joseph E. Aoun. “Because of co-op, a Northeastern education has never been limited to the campus. This initiative is a more intentional approach to taking our educational model around the world. Toronto’s culture of innovation and increased demand for a highly skilled workforce make it an excellent regional partner for Northeastern. We are excited to build a bright future together.” Read more
