Tips for Staying Safe On Campus

Safety is a priority here at Northeastern University – Seattle, but unfortunately crime occurs everywhere- even on college campuses so it’s important to remember to be aware of your surroundings.

Staying safe on campus is possible by taking some precautions and knowing what resources are available to you. By taking extra protective measures, you can stay safe on campus at all times and decrease the risk of theft or another crime.

Please review the safety tips below, as they will help reduce risk and keep you safe on campus.

  1. Do not leave your computers, cell phones, or other valuables unattended while you step into a different room
  2. Treat every fire alarm like a REAL alarm and evacuate the building
  3. Do not leave valuable items visible in your vehicle
  4. Do not hold the door open for people that you do not recognize
  5. Do not lend anyone your husky card or access card!
