Experiential Learning

Northeastern’s leadership in experiential learning—the integration of classroom study with professional experience—provides a strong foundation for the university’s expansion to new regions, including Seattle. Northeastern has educational partnerships with more than 2,700 employers, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and global NGOs around the world. They employ nearly 7,000 undergraduate students each year.

Northeastern students participate in experiential learning programs in more than 90 countries and more than 170 cities and on every continent.

Although undergraduate education is not offered at the graduate campuses, the sites will strengthen Northeastern’s undergraduate experiential learning program. The Seattle campus will deepen relationships with current co-op employers and help to develop relationships with new employers.
