Campus Construction Update:

Dean Tayloe Washburn (right) took a hard-hat tour of Northeastern-Seattle’s campus build-out; the report is good and all construction is on time!
The essential infrastructure is set: concrete is poured, piping and electrical are set, and we are beginning to see the form of the campus.  Old electronic and sound wiring has been removed and will be replaced with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and connectivity capability, which will enable Northeatern-Seattle students to have a virtual classroom or meeting with students, research and companies across the country and overseas.

It’s exciting to see the campus grow beneath us! Our neighbors in Institute Systems Biology have been patient as we hammer away at the space; the construction will be done later this year and the classrooms and campus will be ready for action in January 2013.
