ALIGN in Seattle

Interested in our programs but think your background might not be a match? Consider our ALIGN program. Created specifically to prepare bachelor’s degree holders for high-demand industries, regardless of their experience or undergraduate major, ALIGN offers custom curricula in hybrid formats on all our campuses and includes the benefits of our co-op experience and Northeastern’s global network.

If you’re considering a change in the direction of your career—whether you want to grow your skills, your earning potential, or both—Northeastern’s ALIGN program can help. ALIGN offers a direct pathway to a master’s degree in many of today’s most in-demand science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professions.ALIGN classes at the Seattle graduate campus are held in the evenings for flexible access to working professionals. Each on-ground course will meet once a week per semester (+ TA sessions as deemed necessary by instructor). Full-time enrollment requires two courses per semester.

Seattle currently supports ALIGN for Master of Science in Computer Science and Bioinformatics.

The program includes academic bridge courses that link your undergraduate experience to your new field, industry-aligned courses to equip you with the knowledge you need to make the transition, and electives that allow you to specialize your experience to achieve your personal and professional goals. Experiential learning and participation in co-op enables you to gain hands-on experience in your new field, which will be reflected on your resumé when you graduate.
