Graduate Scholarship for Educators
All applicants to the College of Professional Studies will be automatically considered for merit scholarship eligibility during the application review process. There are no additional application requirements to be considered for the scholarship.
New, incoming students who are working as educators, trainers, or administrators in public or private school systems or private organizations are eligible to receive a scholarship award of up to $3,500.
Must Meet the Following Scholarship Criteria:
- Must work as an educator, trainer, or school administrator in public or private school system or private organization
- Applied and accepted to a master’s degree program, or doctorate degree program within the College of Professional Studies: School of Education
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher on all transcripts submitted for entry into a graduate program
Scholarship Award Process:
Individuals who are accepted into a masters or doctorate program, and meets the scholarship criteria will be eligible for the Graduate Scholarship for Educators. The scholarship award will be granted within two weeks of admission into a masters or doctorate program.
Selected scholarship recipients will receive a formal letter via email of the award granted.
