Udit Bhatia is a graduate student in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston. Prior to joining PhD Program under supervision of Prof. Auroop Ganguly, he was working in the capacity of Assistant Design Engineer in MECON Ltd. (Government of India Enterprise). His research experience includes an internship from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai (India) as an IRCC Research Internship award recipient, where he was part of the project, “Climate Change Impact Assessment on Water Resources of India”.

He was the founder of a successful engineering startup, the educational wing of which developed learning modules delivered to students through remote technologies and face-to-face interactions. The design wing of the company has worked on the development of architectural solutions for low cost housing.

Udit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India.
