Sharon Fray Witzer, Esq. , a 1993 graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law, has taught Criminal Law, Legal Philosophy and Criminal Due Process, at the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice since 2007. She also practices law as a criminal defense attorney, concentrating in appeals to the state and federal courts. Sharon has been a lecturer in Legal Studies and Philosophy of Law at Brandeis University, an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, and an Assistant Attorney General at the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. Before law school, she was a Legislative Aide to Congressmen Leon Panetta.
Her current academic interests include Theories of Punishment, and Privacy.
