Drug Trafficking, Terrorism, and Organized Crime: Real World Meets Academia
The Council of Europe, in conjunction with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and other international governing bodies, has identified transnational organized crime as one of the greatest threats to the global community. How has academia approached this complex criminal phenomenon? How can academics advance the understanding of “organized crime” and help curb this increasingly concerning global problem?
