Workers Compensation

Workers' Compensation is a system of insurance that protects employees if they are injured while in the course and scope of employment or contract a work-related illness.

Workers Compensation is available to all employees of Northeastern who sustain injuries while on the job. It pays for reasonable and necessary medical treatment and partial wage replacement, if an employee is out of work and/or has incurred medical expenses as a result of a work-related injury/illness.

Please note it is imperative to report any and all injuries sustained on NU premises. do so, send an Injury Report Form to the Office of Risk Management at 122 Saint Stephen's Street immediately following the injury.

All doctors visits should be billed to our third party administrator, Cannon Conchran Management Services at the address listed below.

The CCMSI claims administrator works with the injured employee to coordinate medical treatment and facilitate the employee's return to work, while all coordination with the department will be handled by the Claims Manager.
