TULIP Coverage

Northeastern University Risk Services has enrolled in a program offered through University Risk and Insurance Management Association called TULIP (short for Tenant Users Liability Insurance Program). TULIP is a self-service program that offers coverage at a reasonable cost for outside groups and vendors requesting use of Northeastern's facilities for one-time events.

Through the program, Northeastern is able to offer our facilities to third parties while minimizing the risk exposure of the University, as the policy protects both the facility user and the institution against claims by third parties who may be injured as a result of participating in an event.

Obtaining TULIP Coverage

To learn more and apply for the TULIP program, please visit Tulip's Online Tutorial. Following the tutorial, contact the Office of Risk Management for a passcode and return to the Tulip Website to purchase insurance.

Please note: Your insurance is not in effect until your receive a certificate of insurance from Bene-Marc. Your certificate of insurance is proof of coverage.
