Electrophoretic Directed Assembly of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes for Nanoscale Devices

Abstract

Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) are considered to be potential building blocks for future nanoscale devices in various types of applications including electronics, energy storage and nanoelectromechanical systems due to their extraordinary mechanical and electrical properties. To incorporate SWNTs into CMOS based devices, current chemical vapor deposition (CVD growth) cannot be used since CVD process requires very high temperatures (>600
