Abstract:
In this paper, we use data from Massachusetts State Parole, the Boston Police Department, the Suffolk County House of Correction, and the Massachusetts Department of Correction to examine the spatial distribution of crime and incarceration among offenders admitted to and released from correctional facilities to communities in Boston.
