Application for NURIEC Support to Attend:

Interpreting Strategies to Facilitate Interactions with Deaf-Blind People

Apply by April 25, 2014 for NURIEC support of $250 for qualifying participants.

Qualifying participants agree to attend the entire event and to gather together a group of interpreters, Deaf consumers, and other stakeholders for a one-hour presentation/discussion on key learning and distribution of materials from the training. Presentation deadline: September 15, 2014.

Training Dates:
Deadline for NURIEC support April 25, 2014 | Notices to recipients of support will go out by email on April 30, 2014.
HKNC Registration Deadline May 16, 2014
Online training: May 30 – June 13, 2014
On-campus: June 15-18, 2014 (at the Helen Keller National Center in Sands Point, NY)

Eligible recipients of NURIEC support must be residents of the following states and territories: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Vermont.
