Configuring HuskyMail on Android (older devices)

Step 1: Your HuskyMail password MUST be changed in order for it to work correctly on your phone. For instructions click here

Step 2: On your phone, open the “Gmail” Application. Once inside, hit your menu button and click “Accounts”.

Step 3: You should now see a screen with all of your active accounts. Click “Add Account” at the bottom of your screen.

Step 4: The “Add a Google Account” screen will appear. Click “Next”.

Step 5: Click “Sign In”.

Step 6: On this screen, enter your account information. The top line should be your full Husky email address. The bottom line should be your new password established in Part 1. Click “Sign In” when you’re finished.

Step 7: You should see this screen communicated with Google’s servers. This step could take a minute depending on your signal strength, so be patient.

Step 8: Finally, select what you want to sync to your phone. Generally, Gmail is the most important. Calendar and Contacts are your choice. Click “Finished” when you are done.

Step 9: Click “Finish Setup” when you are done reading this screen.

Step 10: You should now return to your “Accounts” page. If everything went well, you should now see your HuskyMail setup in place! Please note that it could take several minutes for all of your mail to sync to your phone.
