Registering your Xbox 360/Xbox One for wired/wireless
If you have never registered your Xbox 360 before

If you have never registered your Xbox 360 before, you have two options.
Option number one is bringing it down to ResNet. You must bring your Xbox along with the power cable and controller to our office. We will then register it for you in our office for either wired, wireless, or both. Estimated time: 10 min.
Option number two is to send a picture of the MAC* address to ResNet@neu.edu along with your name, what kind of connection you would like (wired or wireless), and the MAC address typed out. Once you send the email, we will register it within the next 24 working hours. We will send you a confirmation email once we have registered your device.

If you have registered in a past semester

If you have registered in a past semester, and this is the same console as one previously registered, you only need to go to the registration student portal at http://registerresnet.neu.edu and hit “register” next to the entry for your console.

*MAC Addresses can be found the following way:
Xbox 1

If you are signed into your profile, navigate to My Games & Apps.
From there, select Settings.
In the settings pane, select Network.
Select Advanced Settings.

Xbox 360
Go to My Xbox in the Xbox Dashboard and select System Settings.
Click Network Settings, Configure Network.
Select Advanced Settings from the Additional Settings tab, then select Alternate Mac Address.
At the bottom of this screen you’ll see a heading called Wired MAC and Wireless MAC
