Leadership

Leaders come in all shapes and sizes!  Join this community to explore your leadership style and maximize your potential.  We know that there are many types of successful leaders, so we have created several tracks to enable you to explore your leaership potential in an area that will best meet your needs and interests.  Choose the track that most interests you:

• Sports Leadership : Do you find yourself stepping out onto the field and taking hte reins?  Do your teammates look up to you for advice and words of wisdom?  Or are you just plain passionate about sports?  Learn invaluable leadership skills in the field of athletics in conjunction with Northeastern's premier program, Sport and Society.  Students will learn tips form group motivation from our NCAA Division One coaching staff, goal setting from our Athletic Director, and sports ethics from our faculty.

• Outdoor Leadership : Summit your leadership potential!  Learn valuable outdoor and leadership skills through guided trips and expedition experiences.  And outdoor leader is confident, can handle life-threatening crises, and can plan a mind-blowing outdoor adventure.  If oyu are into hiking, climbing, or paddling and want to learn how to develop leadership skills while exploring the great outdoors, this is the place for you!

• Women Leaders : Strong women.  Strong leaders.  This LLC will give our female residents the opportunity to hone their leadership skills.  Empowering women to excel in their respective communities, this LLC will provide residents with a strong foundation for building your leadership potential.

• Leaders of the Pack: Be the leader you always wanted to be!  This LLC will help students enhance their leadership skills, while getting to know leaders both on cmapus and in the community.  Students will make connections with faculty members and upper-class student in leadership postions to begin to develop their leadership career at Northeastern.  The skills learned in the LLC will coincide with students' academic lives to help them succeed at Northeastern and beyond.

• All Leadership Tracks are highly encouraged to participate in a BLUEPRINT leadership course offered through the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Student Leadership.  This course is specifically designed to enhance a first-year students leadership potential!  For more information about BLUEPRINT click here.
